|Recommended: NoWay Overpriced — I currently pay 470 to share a room and the room is hardly big enough for two people. I signed a lease during the summer because I was under the impression that I would be getting a summer rate but I'm paying the same as everybody else in a shared room. They charge you for everything. I had a bowl in the sink during the cleaning check and got charged an extra 10 on rent. If you want to put your own desk in the room, you have to pay monthly for the storage of THEIR desk. The model room that they showed me looked nothing like the room I actually moved into. The staff is helpful and friendly and the bus stop for is 3 minutes away but those are the only good parts about it. Would not recommend to anybody.
response from property -Nathan, I apologize if there was any misunderstanding of your rent rate. We don't have different summer rates. I looked up your cleaning charge and our records indicate that it was for an issue with the toilet and the kitchen. I don't think we would charge for a single bowl in the sink. If that is not the case, please stop by my office to relook at the situation. We want you to be happy here, and if that isn't happening, we want the chance to fix it. - Bart Gibb, Community Manager
|Recommended: YesThe renovations really helped spruce up the place and make it a lot prettier. i always love when the flowers bloom — Its a little on the pricey side but the events that they host are always so fun and the summer games are amazing guest parking is a little hard to find and they do tow but besides that ive have an overall good experience with WC
Thanks for the feedback. We'll have to look at the visitor parking visibility issue. - Bart Gibb, Community Manager
|Recommended: YesGreat Apartments — I really enjoy living here.
We are all very glad you live here!!! We feel almost as lucky as your parents to have you here! - Community Manager
|Recommended: NoPretty good — there's a cleaning check every month and that's kind of uncomfortable.
if you order food or things, you are not able to get those in front of your door.
a little expensive but clean and fairly good location. Orem station is very close.
|Recommended: YesConvenient location — everything is close by so it’s nice for a
person without a car bc the bus station is close by. people are generally nice. just pick roommates wisely.
|Recommended: YesVery nice and well run — Nice place, parking is very good and location is ideal if you need to travel via the train and or over the bridge to UVU. Bus system is also very good
|Recommended: YesMeh — Each floor has it's own unique smell to it, and no matter what I do I can't seem to get rid of that everlasting stench at the entrance to our apartment. My personal experience was pretty bad on move in, the apartment was an absolute mess and I had to put in a decent amount to clean it up and make it feel loosely like a home . I prefer to think of it as the place I sleep each night and not much else.
All that said, the facility itself is nice. The equipment is high quality and the residents get some nice bonuses every once in a while, like a week of free lunches and dinners being served in the lobby, free good wifi, and quick access to the bus and train station.
If you have friends to move in with, I would recommend it. If you're moving in with a bunch of strangers...Less so. The only other thing to mention is it's a bit pricey I think, but if you're using everything they offer, it's great. If you don't want everything they're giving, somewhere else might be a better fit.
|Recommended: YesClean, Welcoming, Quiet — Wolverine Crossing is a pretty decent place to live The apartments were recently renovated and are pretty nice. Problems are fixed in a timely manner. It's in a good location that's not too far from stores, but also not on a crazy busy street. I've really enjoyed living here.
|Recommended: YesIt has been good to me — Living here has been easy, stress fee, and has little probelsm.
|Recommended: NoThe parking was bad, I always had to park so far away from my apartment and the elevator is so slow it takes forever to get to your floor. the walls are thin and you can hear a lot of stuff outside — It wasn’t horrible but would not recommend living here. It takes so much time just to get to your apartment and isn’t worth all the hassle and the rent is incredibly overprocdd
|Recommended: YesWell kept, warm, and welcoming — great community, really nice apartments, overall a good experience.
|Recommended: YesNot bad, mostly as advertized — Pretty view, close to campus, parking is a little hard to find but overall not a bad place to live for college. Could be much worse.
|Recommended: YesThe layout was nice, bathrooms were spacious, grounds were kept up nicely — Fun environment for Freshmen at UVU or those looking to make new friends. Strict on parking however.
|Recommended: YesWe like it, but could be better. — The apartments are really nice. We have had a few issues with staff and the maintenance crew. We have never been treated disrespectfully though. People do smoke around the buildings, often not 25 feet away. The smoke smell gets in our car and the vents which is really not appreciated. There are lots of activities and great events to attend. It is definitely a 4 out of 5 for me.
|Recommended: YesFriendly, helpful staff, not very good at timely notices — Nice people, the remodeled apartments are awesome. Usually they're very understanding. Walls are very thin, especially if you're a light sleeper. Refrigerators very small for the amount of people. Bit pricey, but worth it in niceness.
