|Recommended: YesClean, nice, quiet, and safe. — This place is pretty good. I enjoy it here. Maintenance is quick and the buildings are safe and quiet. The roommate matching tool works very well, I have great roommates.
|Recommended: YesI absolutely love living here — This is by far the nicest place I’ve lived especially for the price. The staff are very caring and are willing to help out.

|Recommended: YesVery nice — spacious cool people and nice utilities
|Recommended: YesNice living areas, Not very much outdoors space but its alright. Lots of free food and parties, soda machine. Right next to frontrunner — I really like the people and how close it is to the school, my church building, and frontrunner station. As I dont have a car it is essential for me to be able to get to the bus in a timely fassion to get to school. And that knew footbridge they are putting in nearby will be nice to be close to as well. The parking I know is horrible for the most part my roomates have cars and always get frustrated by having to park over at F building when we live at B. Anyway, the hotubs and pools are nice, the water is always warm. Inside, it sometimes gets way to cold or way too hot because we only have control over our heating and cooling by like 3 degrees. Beyond that it is locked and we cant change it. My least favorite thing is that there is practically no room for your clothes. Depending on which building you are in, you might not even get a closet. In my building we do have a closet but the dresser we have only has two drawers and the closets only have one rack. definately not enough space at all to put all your clothes. I leave most of mine at home and I also bough a portable dresser from walmart. Super annoying. The people are really cool though and they do have lots of parties and lots of free food and such. The rent isnt too horrible although it is higher than practically every other place but its ok. The mantinace guys come rather quickly when something is wrong. And the cleaning checks are not q-tip thurough which makes it allot less stressful. Plenty of kitchen space so long as you dont need everything to be in the fridge. There is also the option of having a second fridge for higher rent price. My favorite thing is their sort of roomate finding system. Where before you move in you can message with and get to know some people of your same floor plan and you can decide to be each others roomates. That system made it so much easier for me to transition. Overall wolverine crossing is a great place for new freshman, or anyone knew to the school and the are. Its close to everything you need and you dont even need to have a car. Plus the volyball net and basketball courts are really fun for parties. My favorite activity they do it grocery bingo. you literally play bingo and get free groceries and snacks. My roomates and I got us enough garbage bags to last the whole semester from that game There is also a soda machine that residents get four free sodas from each month. The mailboxes are really small so allot of my mail gets smooshed but thats not a big deal for me. The gym however needs way better cooling system. The only fans are on the celing and if you are on the bottom floor, the top floor blocks them from getting to you on the tredmills. thats really annoying. But the apartnments are nice, the pools are great, there is a little gazebo and barbeque spot thats very pretty as well. And they have lots of parties. But the biggest thing for me is how close they are to the school and frontrunner.
|Recommended: YesLots of Positives — The apartment itself is clean and nice. Everything looks new and the carpet and paint look good. Everything works well. I love the kitchen, the storage space, the layout. Noise level is really pretty great. Our neighbor had a newborn baby who cried a lot so we could hear that. But the insulation is quite good. The temperature is hot or cold can't control that. Parking is amazing. There is plenty of parking. I loved being so close to the train and bus for school. Very convenient. The outdoor pools are wonderful. Plenty of laundry facilities. Nice place to live.
My only 3-star rating is for the hallways and stairwells in the building. The bright yellow paint in our building is awful. I suggest a cool light blue-- something calming. The stairwells are absolutely filthy.
|Recommended: YesGood but not great. Underwhelmed with overall experience. — It's a cute community and people are fun and kind. Appliances are decent, rooms are okay. Your apartment is not nearly as nice in appearance and quality as the model room they show during tours. I was very disappointed in the fact that we had to go multiple days a month sometimes 3 or 4 times in a week with our water shut off. We were only notified about it a little more than half of the time and the other times they called it an emergency ... how many emergency water shut offs do they need in a month This caused a lot of inconveniences to myself, neighbors, roommates, and friends. The staff does their best to be friendly and helpful so I am satisfied with them, as well as the RA's. They were always friendly and welcoming and had some really great events planned always with free food . Overall, I had a good experience for my first year of college, but I will not be renewing my lease. I cannot afford the overpriced rent, and I do not want to deal with any more inconveniences from water or power shutoffs.

response from property -Thank you, Sierra, for the review. We appreciate the feedback!
|Recommended: YesPretty outstanding besides noise — Living at WC is really fun. My only recommendation is to request top floor because you can hear whats going on above you and its not very fun to be woken up at 3 in the morning to things fall off of your walls and you can hear and feel the stomping above you.
Abigail, thank you for your review! If the noise continues to be a problem, please let Zack, our Resident Life Director know, so that he can look into it. ([email protected])

|Recommended: YesI do feel like this place is more about outward appearance — I mean it is a pretty great place to live in. It does have its ups and downs, like the laundry machines always being dirty and staff not really being helpful. But it’s still okay.
Shakeira, thank you for the review and the feedback! I have passed your comments on to our housekeeping and leasing staff.
